Reps pass a bill ending HND-B.Sc duality


The House of Representatives has passed a bill that abolished the present duality between tech Higher National credentials and therefore the Bachelor of Science degree awarded by the Nigerian universities.

The bill was passed throughout Tuesday’s comprehensive.

The legislation, that was sponsored by Ali Isa and Edward Pwajok from Gombe and upland States severally was passed for the presentation since April 2017.

The lawgiver aforesaid in different countries, technical consultants were paid beyond directors, adding that “the reverse is that the case within the country’’.

He aforesaid that if the personal sector should develop, correct recognition should incline to polytechnics and similar establishments within the country.
